Nearly 135 days after Russell Martin's initial media briefing as the club's head coach, successor the German coach met with reporters at Rangers' stadium for the first time.

The scale of the task ahead of him is widely recognized, considering his predecessor's chaotic and disappointing four-month spell.

The former Wednesday boss was joined by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the much-criticized pair of football director Thelwell and chief executive Stewart.

However, what precisely was revealed from the young coach's maiden media outing as the club's manager?

Rohl's Main Priority - Winning is Everything

One thing came through clearly from the new coach's initial presentation before the Scottish media - he recognizes the need to secure victories, and achieve this quickly.

The previous manager Russell Martin managed just 17 matches and 123 days in charge, so the inquiry emerged about how long Rohl thinks is reasonable to turn around the struggling squad.

Although deftly sidestepping a direct answer that could bring future pressure, the coach's communication was quite clear.

"Hopefully very quickly," he stated. "This is essential.
"In football you have limited opportunity. One can talk about future plans but it's understood it's about the short-term and that period is about winning games. That is what I demand.
"One thing remains obvious - I need all players to understand our intended to play. I return to my primary theme: it's winning, entertaining football and it's together. If you follow this sequence, I believe that I'll stay very long here."

Expectations are Standard

Martin required a police escort to exit the Falkirk Stadium after his last match as manager.

We've witnessed how toxic environments can turn at football clubs when performances decline. Protests have nearly become a regular part of game day experience on each part of Glasgow currently.

As Rangers' youngest ever head coach, the inquiry asked about which attributes Rohl believes he possesses that would enable him to cope, let alone thrive, in among the most pressurized roles in UK soccer?

"I think expectations in football are standard," he commented. "You must learn that very quickly.
"I believe certain individuals might mention my age but I have been 16 years in this career. I experienced a great chance to work with the German club and be only an assistant manager, but I experienced the reality to be a head coach and the demands involved.
"When you start winning games and then some critics will say you must produce entertaining soccer. That becomes the phase but that's exactly what I want. I enjoy those expectations and I'm excited about the future."

The Sporting Director Explains Striker Acquisition & Appointing Family Member

Kevin Thelwell media conference

There were numerous inquiries from the media directed at Thelwell.

Significant attention has focused on the hiring of his son as head of recruitment, with fans skeptical about his qualifications for the role.

Nevertheless, he defended and clarified the choice to bring Thelwell Jnr to Ibrox.

"It remains uncomfortable to hear and in appearance I believe we all agreed when we took this decision to appoint Robbie that he would be viewed negatively," Thelwell stated.
"The reality of the situation is that we want to attract the top talent to this club.
"My view on his professional path and situation is he required no family help in football.
"He's worked at Villa as head scout, he then moved to Norwich City as scouting chief and then got promoted to development role.
"Before we hiring him, multiple Premier League clubs sought to sign him. Our approach from the start of the process was consult with Patrick, Andrew and deputy chairman Marathe about this situation.
"I remained extremely transparent and I think Robbie probably underwent a more rigorous procedure than any other who's employed by the team.
"What I do know is that he will work 25/8 to be successful for this football club and I'm looking forward to him demonstrating that he's going to be an excellent employee for the club."

Thelwell also supported the acquisition of striker Chermiti, who arrived at Rangers for an alleged first payment of £8m, having failed to score in 24 appearances for his previous club.

It was Thelwell who transferred the Portuguese youth international to Merseyside from Sporting Lisbon - once more for significant money in a £15m transfer.

The question came if he stands by his multi-million pound purchase, who is yet to score in seven outings for the club.

"Absolutely, completely," Thelwell answered. "I believe the striker represents who's got huge potential.
"I haven't questioned him whatsoever. Similarly, I think Danny will assist in maximize the potential out of the player.
"It's very initial stages for the young player, he remains young talent and naturally with young talents they occasionally take time.
"However, I'm convinced throughout of his career here he's going to prove that he is highly capable footballer."

Stewart Acknowledges Supporters' Disappointment and Hurt

Stewart was also facing firing line, given the criticism that has been directed at him by some of the club's own supporters.

There was even a sign in the Sandy Jardine stand during the last draw with Dundee United inviting Stewart - and the sporting director - to pack his bags before being removed for them.

Similar to the football director, Stewart didn't evade the issue.

"I completely appreciate the frustration and anger that the supporters are feeling because performances this season haven't been expectations and nobody's happy with them," he said.
"The pain and frustration fans experience is mirrored within the leadership.
"Recognize that there must exist an outlet for those frustrations and in my role, I'm responsible.
"I'm a focal point for those and my role as a
